The French gossip magazine Closer will no longer publish photos of Kate Middleton. The magazine, owned by Mondadori, has indeed lost an appeal appeal to the Court of Versailles against the judgment of the Court of first instance that, in September, had ordered the newspaper to deliver pictures of topless Duchess of Cambridge to the British Royal family.
The Court's decision paves the way for the French authorities to open investigation on how the photos were obtained while the couple was on vacation in a private castle in the South of France. In April the Court of Nanterre had indicted the head of Mondadori France, Ernesto Mauri, and a French photographer of the newspaper ' La Provence ', Valerie Suau, the latter for having snapped a photo of Kate. The identity of those who took topless photos materially not been yet established.
