Yesterday was announced the date of the happy day that the Royal family has long waited for!! The princeling George will be christened by the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Reverend Justin Welby, on October 23 at the Chapel Royal at St. James's Palace.
A statement issued from Kensington Palace says that Prince William and the Duchess, Kate Middleton, are pleased to announce "the date of baptism, at the Royal Palace in Pall Mall. The Declaration reads: "Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are pleased to announce that the baptism of Prince George will be held on Wednesday, 23 October at the Chapel Royal, St James's Palace.
Prince George will be christened by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Mons. Justin Welby ". Kensington Palace said that "the close members of both families" will participate in the Kate Middleton photos topless closercerimonia, but cannot know the names of the guests at a later date.
The baptism will mark the release of a rare family photos: a monarch and three heirs to the throne. they are obviously the Queen, 87, Prince Charles, 64 year-old Prince William, 31 – and the little George.
The little Prince was born on 22 July this year, at the Lindo wing of St. Mary's Hospital in London. Is the third heir in line to the throne after his father, Prince William.
