Mariah Carey makes a gift to lovers

Scheduled for Valentine's day the release of a new song. Meanwhile, "The art of letting go" not kicking in

 

The first single from her upcoming album, "The art of letting go", did not go very well, but Mariah Carey is not one who surrenders. The singer is working on launching a new song that, apparently, will see the light on Valentine's day. Easy to expect, therefore, a sugary sweet song for couples in love by Carey, who, on the other hand, has always been very consistent in choosing the themes of his songs. The release announcement was the same singer while filming the Nbc special "New Year's Eve with Carson Daley", with Carey who also spoke of the upcoming album, which is not yet known the name: the singer did not provide a precise date, but hinted that the album will not be ready before the spring. This will be the 14th studio album by Carey, who has now passed the 20 years of plenty of career: "Mariah Carey", his first record, dating back even to 1990. The last one, "Merry Christmas II", is dated instead contained four new songs 2010: and a series of Christmas songs. The previous album, "Memoirs of an imperfect angel", released in 2009, is in fact the last album completely of Carey's unreleased, as well as his most recent success: managed to break through the wall of 2 million copies.

Debut flop. The numbers, however, don't seem to have a smile to r'n ' b singer with a song produced for the next disc. "The art of letting go", released last November 11, has not gone beyond the 119esima position of the Billboard sales charts and garnered results even worse outside the United States. That Carey has lost his magic touch for the hit? We'll find out only on Valentine's day.
